When you’re pregnant, you feel it, you know it. Every movement is measured, every choice is guided by that protective instinct for the little being growing inside. But how often do we really take the time to savor this moment? To pause, breathe, and just be?

We’ve lost that habit, or maybe society makes us believe that idleness is a luxury we can no longer afford. Everything has to be filled, optimized, never stop. And yet…

An intimate maternity session is exactly the opposite. It’s a parenthesis. A suspended space where time seems to slow down, where every gesture, every curve takes on new meaning.

Each woman experiences pregnancy differently. Some glow, others impatiently wait for the end. There’s no right or wrong way to experience it. There’s just you, your body, your story.

For my part, I went through all these emotions. Impatience, mostly. The desire to see that smile, those tiny fingers, to breathe in that scent. And at the same time, the need to reclaim my body, to find that freedom of movement again. Nine months is long, but so short at the same time.

And the photos… They are there for that. To freeze those moments we forget too quickly. To remember the softness, the slowness, the waiting. To remind you that this moment is yours. That it belongs to you. Just you.
