A marriage proposal is quick. A few seconds. Maybe a minute. But emotionally, it opens something huge.
That is why I do not only photograph the exact second of the question. I also photograph what happens right after: the breath coming back, the hands you keep looking at, the smiles going everywhere, the raw joy, the disbelief, the arms holding tighter, and the first photos of the two of you after the Yes.
Because that moment does not happen twice.
